Rob Barton has been advising community banks in the areas of non-qualified benefits and Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) for over a decade. He has worked with hundreds of banks nationwide and has extensive knowledge of and experience in the areas of administration, design, and regulatory requirements of non-qualified retirement plans.
He regularly speaks at banking conventions on the topics of BOLI, executive benefits and succession planning; and because of his extensive knowledge on these topics, Rob is often requested to write articles for various respected national and regional banking publications.
Rob earned his B.S. from Brigham Young University, his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, and his MBA from The Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, where he emphasized in finance and strategic management.
